Who says you need posed family pictures? I would say these capture life, people, and emotion very well.
Interesting dichotomy of the picture with Gage and Emerson. Gage is in a boonie hat and Ranger t-shirt, Em is in a peace shirt. I think the dichotomy represents an absolute truth, the longer you’re in combat - the more you want peace.
