Normal

Things are just as they should be…normal.

And…normal feels FABULOUS!

We took the boys to our favorite breakfast spot this morning and for a moment I felt like we were living our old life. We could have rewound the clock. We used to frequent Cafe Patachou most Sunday mornings. It was kind of like our ‘Cheers’…where everyone knew our name. It was normal.

I haven’t had normal in a VERY long time. It is a warm, fuzzy feeling.

Tim has just slipped right back into fatherhood. He is truly engaged. He is constantly playing. And…just as I suspected he cleaned eight ears and clipped lots of nails. I guess they needed some maintenance!

Special thanks to…everyone who has called, left a comment, left a voice mail expressing their happiness for Tim’s safe arrival home. Nate for watching the Fort while I picked up Tim. Helena, my dear sister-in-law, who handmade the most adorable ‘peace sign’ onesies so the girls would have something special to wear when their dad arrived home. It was such a nice gesture not to mention that they looked absolutely adorable. Stacy…I owe her an entire post. I need to give it a great deal more though first. Nate for coining the term ‘Mayhemville’ when describing our household.
