A Boy
I was touched tonight when my favorite kid stopped by for my signature for a service project. Patrick has been particularly helpful this year. He and his sister, Kristen, seem to show up at just the right times. My kids love them. They are not only a breath of fresh air but a pleasure to have in our home.
His words only solidified my belief that this deployment has gone far beyond positively affecting just my family.

Special thanks to…Katie and Ian for filling in last night at the last minute. Gwen, Dyan, Christina, and Gwen for a great evening out among other women whose husbands are also deployed. It was so much fun. Kirk Beckham, Scott Rudicel, and Dale Minnix for planning some ‘guy fun’ for the boys. I really appreciate you thinking about them.
