Stalker
I was driving around today and felt compelled to call Tim’s voice mail. I called twice. I even left a message. I just missed being able to randomly pick up the phone to call my husband. I actually had to think about what his number was though.
It reminded me of a different time in my life. Tim and I liked each other but were dating other people. We went our separate ways for summer break in college. Thank goodness there was no such thing as Caller ID because I would have been busted. I regretfully and embarrassingly admit there were several occasions I crank called him to do just what I did today…hear his voice. Call me a stalker!
Soon enough I will be able to dial him up whenever I want.
Anyway…onto the last two weeks.
Whew! I am thankful to get back to a routine after the holidays. The last few weeks have been filled with family and friends for which I am extremely grateful. The day after Christmas, Tim’s family arrived. We had a great visit…my boys are always excited to spend time with Uncle Mark and their cousins, Saxon and Evane.
Then…we gathered in the car with six kids for a trip to Cleveland. Believe it or not…the car ride went well. The Rowe Clan gathered together for several days of family bliss!!! We are one of those families that would make a seriously great reality show. See images below…
…
Special thanks to…the Rowe Family, especially Helena and Nate, for having extreme patience with my children while we were in Cleveland. I was bordering on a nervous breakdown. I think traveling with my four children will not happen again until they are older. To my Aunt Nine and Wally for opening up their home to us all. Your home is a symbol of Christmas Cheer. My 91 year-old grandfather for being such an extraordinary man…he is interesting, kind, loving, and deeply faithful. My Aunt Kathy for fixing just the right kids meal before we hit the road. To my mom for waiting for us as we arrived just before the New Year…I needed you. To my sister, Audrey, for the best visit ever…you were an enormous help. Patrick and Kristen for being great companions and friends to my children. Alfega and Tim for taking the kids ice skating.
Oh…and a HUGE congratulations to Suzy and Luis on their engagement.

You are pretty quick with the camara. Glad to have you back on the blog. I always know when you are really stressed because the blog is “quiet”. Thanks for making the effort to come to Chagrin. If you do travel again, invest in a couple of straight jackets, pink and size small. Wow, I had forgotten how busy babies are at 18 mos. Just in case anyone is counting, Briggs, Emerson, Campbell and Nathan were missed in the pictures and the only MIA’s were Daniel and Morgan and of course, Tim in the flesh! CLAN is an accurate term.
