The Gager
I have decided Gage is a good catch for any three-year old out there looking for a future spouse. He is wild by all accounts but also sweet to the core. Unlike many of us, he can easily and sincerely apologize. And he does it at just the right moments. I figure this will work in his favor someday.
Lately, he has been trying to persuade me to sleep with him. He’ll say, “Mommy, I saved a spot just for you.” He says this while pointing to the tiniest of spots that only half my butt cheek could fit onto but it is so endearing.
When Gage leaves for school, he always says the same thing, “Mommy, I’ll come back. Okay?” He also give me the biggest and best of hugs and runs into my arms.
While I am confident I will be slightly overbearing when it comes to whom Gage decides to date, he is definitely going to be a good catch! I’ll keep him to myself for awhile though.
Here is one of his favorites lines lately.
YA WANNA PIECE OF ME?
As a complete side note, we have been jamming to some great tunes around the house lately. Playing on the iPod are Colbie Caillat, Alicia Keys’ new album, Ryan Adams, John Legend, and Blake Lewis’ debut album. We love to dance!
As another side note, I spoke to Tim last night. He is eager to get home for his two-week leave. I think as soon as the holidays pass, mid-February will be here before we know it. We have decided to just spend our time at home.
Christmas is fast-approaching and these last couple of posts, have left me teary-eyed. I really miss you guys. I’m looking forward to getting home to “reset.”
Please take little Gager up on his offer to sleep with him, I think being between the oldest and younger twin sisters = he may not get a lot of dedicated time.
When I get ready to return to Iraq, after leave, I will have to remember to say “Gage, I’ll come back. Okay?”
I miss the Stoner Six.
tim - December 19th, 2007 at 10:59 amThe TRowe family plays musical beds on a nightly basis and Hattie spends more time in my room than I. I actually enjoy Mina’s and Hattie’s flannel sheets. My belief is they age rapidly and I will look back on our bizarre sleeping arrangements with no regret.
Looking forward to seeing everyone in Chagrin.

Jess Strickland - December 19th, 2007 at 4:30 pmI am only interested in one thing: How are you doing on their oral hygiene? You had better start “cramming” now. The general will be home to check them out before you know it!!
