Slightly Embarrassed
I received a forwarded message from a friend this evening about a woman in similar circumstances that has been following the blog. She has four children (7,4,2,3mos) and her husband will soon be deployed. Anyway, she wants to get Daddy Dolls for her children…a wise choice.
I sent her the link and decided to look in their photo gallery. Let me just state for the record…I was just slightly embarrassed when I entered Daddy Dolls to find the collage of just myself with the Daddy Doll. Ahhhh…there are only children holding their Daddy Dolls. Have I gone insane? Did I send that to them?

Now that is hilarious! I was behind a few days in reading the blog and just got caught up.
Tim–I am so amazed by the work you all are doing. We had collected a lot of stuffed animals which we’re finding homes for stateside since you have so many already. Anyway, we had explained to Ella the reason we were collecting them. She has been very curious about the children in Iraq. Just yesterday, she asked me to tell her again about the children in “that place where Briggs’ and Gage’s daddy is helping people.” You’re a hero through and through. Thank you to you and all your men and be safe!
Tiffany–Just read the Bus posting and it broke my heart. You are such a great mom. Don’t doubt yourself for a second. Can’t wait to come see you guys after the holidays.
