It wasn’t us…
I have received several concerned emails about a helicopter that went down, yesterday, just South of Baghdad.
IT WAS NOT OUR UNIT.
This incident is being reported in a couple different ways right now: US helicopter crash (Blackhawk) and British helicopter crash (Puma). It’s no surprise that the initial reports are in conflict with one another. Everyone wants to get the information out and may be in a rush to “report” - before the facts can be gathered as to: who, what, when, where, why, how.
The initial data, often differs from the final facts. Something that I will discuss again in an upcoming post entitled “Fog of War.”
We’re doing well.
Happy Thanksgiving,
Tim
Happy Thanksgiving to all. We are always thinking of you. Everyday, several times a day, I look at the yellow ribbons around my trees and think positive thoughts about all of you. There is bunting over my door and a great big flag on a 30 pole in the front yard. I am thankful for you and what you and your men do. (Hope the Syrian across the street notices) God Bless. Nine

Thanks for the letter. Will reciprocate with another box! You are great. 4 inches of snow today. Love that Lake effect!
Aunt 9 - November 23rd, 2007 at 9:44 pmI would gladly trade you my 12 inches of dust, for your 4 inches of snow.
tim - November 24th, 2007 at 3:27 amGlad to hear that, Tim. Susan and I are often thinking of you, Tiffany, and the kids (as are many of your neighbors, I’m sure).
Tiffany, Susan and I were just talking about you and the kids and are wondering if we can help you with anything. Need some help getting out the Christmas decorations? Let me know if we can lend a hand. Or maybe we can look after the kids one of these days?
