WTHR-13
I had twenty minutes to prepare for an interview with Emily Longnecker of WTHR-13 today. When I got the call there were eight kids sitting around the table eating mac & cheese still dressed in their pajamas. I think the feature turned out great. I am even more proud of Tim as we celebrate Veteran’s Day.

NOTE: Funniest line of the day…and totally unrelated. Gage came down the stairs with the widest smile on his face and proudly stated, “Mom, come see…I gave the cat a haircut.” Sure enough, our Misty is a little sheared but loved the attention.

They had just called me and I thought to myself, “Man I’d be tweeking right now if Channel 13 wanted to come to my house unexpectedly”. You handled it with such grace and class. The news story was great, and you and Tim have such a beautiful family!

Watching the broadcast was the first thing I did today. Too bad that they couldn’t have done some real TV magic and had our favorite MAJOR walk through the door with an “I’m home for good” sign pinned to his chest. Oh well, We can dream. Thanks for putting this day in perspective. I love all of you!!
