Happy Halloween
Hope everyone had a Happy Halloween.
I love tradition. And…Halloween has become just that around here. Each year our neighborhood has a parade starting at the cul-de-sac leading to the clubhouse. What is especially neat is that the Zionsville Fire Department always leads the kids in the parade. At the clubhouse everyone indulges in pizza, and as soon as the evening sets in the kids take-off. It was my first year, however, to do the trick-or-treating part…it is typically a job held by Tim. I quickly learned that these kids can move fast going door-to-door.
As I was tracking the herd, I couldn’t help but to think how fortunate our children are that they have been friends since before they even remember. And…certainly how exciting it is to keep a tradition going.
P.S. Gage missed the festivities…he was not feeling well. Briggs and the rest of his crew all wanted to be Ninjas (even after I bought him a cool Army uniform). And my niece Elin is the floppy elephant.

Wow - what beautiful little fairies and elephant! Elin, Campbell and Emerson sure are cute! Campbell appears to be giving one of those “Tim” looks. Looks like the Ninja concept is still in-vogue.
tim - November 2nd, 2007 at 2:43 amGreat looking bunch. Sorry that Gage wasn’t up to par. His Luke outfit was great. Those Ninjas are a pretty threateing group. Glad they didn’t come to my door. ……and so, one more holiday closer to coming home.

It’s incredible. Green fairly looks JUST like Tim, pinky like Tiffany and the little elephant is Nate all over again. Wild!
Winden - November 2nd, 2007 at 12:42 pmOkay…I look at Campbell and I see you TIM…!!!!! The costumes are great, and what a fun day it must have been.
I really like to big PINK BOW in Emerson’s hair…so adorable!
