Date Night

Briggs and I had Date Night! I took these goofy pictures on my phone camera. We went to dinner, did a little shopping, and then saw “Mr. Beans Holiday”. He has been needing some undivided attention. I needed a night out. And, to be honest, I sometimes miss the time in my life when it was just the two of us.

Dinner was fun…we played hangman and tick-tac-toe. He always picked ‘X’ and always picked the middle spot. I asked him where he learned his strategy…he said his Daddy.

Oh…I totally had to contain my laughter and not let Briggs know that I saw his neck bending backwards as we went passed the Victoria’s Secrets window displays. Downright racey if you want to know the truth. But he is ALL boy. He also asked me why there were rules that you couldn’t marry your sisters and had Daddy ever had two girlfriends!

Special thanks to…Nate and Helena for making date night happen by watching the girls. My stepfather, Bill, for having a special night with Gage. The women in the neighborhood Bible Study for dropping off some goodies. Judy for hanging out the other day. Beth for letting me get a quick run in. Maureen for the friendship roses. And…to the most recent heartfelt messages I received from longtime friends and fraternity brothers, Adam Russell, Chris Ruszkowski, and Chris McFarling.

  2. Briggzee looks like you’re little sidekick in the photo with you! Like I said on the “Budding Patriotism” reply - Briggs listens well (when he listens). I told him that his best chance of winning is to own the center block on tic-tac-toe.
