We have VIDEO!
First of all…Tim and his troops are fine. I got several warnings to not tune into the morning news today (don’t anyway). As you know, they have a very dangerous mission ahead of them. I appreciate everyone keeping Tim’s unit in your thoughts and prayers as they embark upon a long year.
I am very new to YouTube…at least as a contributor. But I have been wanting to send Tim some video clips and finally found the means in which to do it. A couple of big things happened this week, including… Emerson walking, Gage becoming a ‘big boy’ in more ways than one, Campbell discovering she has a belly button, and Briggs starting second grade. These will probably be of very little interest to anyone but Tim. I just wanted to give him a little bit of home!
There were a few other really cute clips that I unfortunately shot vertically. In fact, when Tim and I got our first video camera…he shot most of the footage vertically so when we watch it we have to turn our heads. Yes…he does fly a helicopter! In any case, I somehow made the same mistake….

Special thanks to…Celesta, Remi, Adree, and Mia Beckham for designing some beautiful American Flag cards for us. We will use everyone one of them to correspond with Tim. Susan Hyten for picking up groceries. Tracy Zimpfer for great chicken marsala. Mom for helping with the kids after working a long day. Suzy’s calls. A great conversation with Jamie O’Brien. Barb Quinn for watching the girls so I could get a quick haircut…and I mean quick. Bob Ridge of IndyVisual for helping me figure out how to upload these videos.
PRICELESS!

I LOVE this! I love reading about your family so seeing them in video makes me feel like I know your kiddos. BEAUTIFUL - their Daddy will be so thrilled.
Sarah Shalley - August 23rd, 2007 at 6:46 pmI give anything to find my belly button.
Aunt 9 - August 23rd, 2007 at 7:32 pmI just wanted to say thank you for posting this online. I am a fellow army wife and find the letters to me so moving. This is my first time to the site, but I just admired the pictures at the airport. So moving, so beautifully done. I cried because it reminded me of Rick and my goodbye, how far we have come, how much we have already endured, and the unknowing road ahead. Your family is beautiful. We have one daughter together, and I hope that my family will have what is obvious from these pictures. An abundant life full of overflowing love. God bless you all. Thanks again,

If only I could take a bath in the sink! Sure do love those kids…and their parents. Stacy
Stacy - August 23rd, 2007 at 9:27 pmStacy and Nine,
We still could take a bath in a sink, maybe only our feet, but at least it’s a start.
Love those kids!!! Em looks like a drunken sailor trying to navigate on a rolling ship. Campbell will realize that soon Grandma will zero in on that belly button and next time, we need to shoot Gage’s smile when we all applaud his daily accomplishments! He always has that shy smile and pumps his chest out with pride. The “big boy” bed is the best!!!
Briggs, what can I say about him, other than he has stepped to the plate. Last night after football practice, he came home and immediately began teaching Gage wrestling moves - go figure!

“Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from Him.” Psalm 127:3
Alfega - August 24th, 2007 at 1:29 pmAlfega
Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from Him.
Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one’s youth.
Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them.
Psalm 127:3-5
