Happy Anniversary to my Partner! Eleven years ago we had a fabulous Chicago wedding. There isn’t anything we would have done differently. It was perfect. We even surprised our guests by dancing the Tango.
I was thinking how incomprehensible it probably would have been for me to consider loving anyone as deeply as Tim eleven years ago. I remember being in physical pain if we were apart when we dated.
When you get married, you hardly think there will be any room left in your heart to love anyone else. Then you have a baby and realize for the first time how much your parents must have loved you.
Then just before you have your second child, you worry there is no way you are going to be able to love another child as much as you love the first. Again, wrong. By the third and fourth, I learned I had plenty more to give.
I typically carry the girls on each hip to their cribs. But for some reason today, I cradled each one separately, as I did with Gage. I couldn’t help but to think eleven years later I have absolutely everything I want. And, everything, except one person, is within the four walls of my home.
I really have never been one to dig cars…so I am just fine with my cool mini-van. And, my house fits us all and the multitude of guests that visit on a regular basis. I probably would like an overhaul on my wardrobe…but I doubt seriously if given the chance I would wear anything other than t-shirts and jeans. I guess I would like to travel to some exotic locations but figure once the diaper stage is over we might have a better chance. So, here I am perfectly content.
You know…now that I am thinking about it…a nice little sparkly bauble might be nice at some point. Just kidding.
We are SO excited to see Tim next week. I had a dream about him for the first time the other night…he looked great! Happy Anniversary, Bud!
…
I still have the highest respect for photographer Andrew Collings whom we selected to capture our wedding day on film. He provided us with images that will last us a lifetime.

I remember the day well! It was beautiful! Congrats on eleven years!! We’re right behind you!!

Congratulations. I can’t believe the time has gone by so quickly. It only seems like yesterday when I witnessed this exceptional couple tie the knot. You were beautiful then and even more beautiful now. Your kids are a direct reflection of your love - body, mind and spirit.

Aunt 9 - July 22nd, 2007 at 7:22 amThat was the coolest wedding I have ever seen or been a part of. I can still remember mom looking and feeling the best she had in many years. Congratulations on 11 years of marriage.
Big Stone - July 22nd, 2007 at 11:44 amWhat a wonderful weekend it was! I remember feeling how incredible it was to see two people so undeniably in love and surrounded by such a strong circle of friends and family. Such a memory to behold! More importantly, how cool that so much has remained constant - the undeiable love still prevails and the circle is bigger and stronger than ever. Congratulations to you both and wishes for an outstanding celebration next week!

Tiffany - looking back at those photos again….you haven’t changed at all! I’m not just saying that, you look exactly the same. Tim does look different…more like a man. But through 4 kids is amazing.
Big Stone - July 24th, 2007 at 12:34 amThat was the most elegant celebration I have attended. We were all wowed by your ability to keep Tim off of your feet during the Tango. Happy to hear that you got to see him this past week. I will give you a call to see when the boys need a wrestling tune up.
Stay Strong,
Kirk Beckham
