Sleeping with Dad
Crazy night but they all managed to fall asleep at the same time. It was total mayhem at 9pm and then peace…aahhhh by 9:15pm!
Anyway, I had to take pictures of each of them sleeping with their Dad. Not the best pictures…but at least he can see that they are each covered in him. Before the soldiers deployed, the Family Readiness Group gave each child either a pillowcase or small blankie with their father’s picture on it. Then, I found the ‘Daddy Dolls’ for the boys a few weeks ago. They love them!
By the way, I did not position the dolls…my cousin already asked. I did, however put the blankies over the twins.
…
Special thanks to…Brian McCourt and Brad Pressler for taking Briggs on the overnight Cub Scout trip. Jim and Kathy Clark for watching the entire clan while I wandered for a few hours. Patrick Hohman (neighborhood boy) who always offers to play with the boys. Grace and Michelle (neighborhood girls) who let me go for a run while the girls were sleeping. My wonderful friend, Melissa, who took Gage to the Children’s Museum. Alfega for taking Gage to the library.

This is a very moving picture for me! I love it and it makes me sad that I’m not there.
Briggs and Emmy, sucking their thumbs…Campbell with her pacifier…and Gage with his blankie and doll.
I love you!

Best to all and Godspeed to Tim and troops.
The TRowe Family
TRowe - June 26th, 2007 at 10:20 pmPleasure spending the evening with the children and visiting with Tiffany. I know she works way to hard, daily, keeping track of the herd! Jim and the boys “hung” out and played outside between the rain drops, while Katie & I spent some time with the girls. The twins also enjoyed Jim & he is sweet on little girls as well.
Thank you for the exciting evening and we will see you all soon.
Thinking of you Tim!

Such sweet children! I think the dolls are a fantastic idea. Who makes them?
Morgan Rowe - June 27th, 2007 at 1:33 pm[...] one of my favorite movies, Amelie. I thought I would take a different yet similar approach. So, the Daddy Doll is going with us everywhere now. We even took him to the Zoo [...]
