And…he is off!

We said goodbye to Tim on Sunday morning as he flew the last Blackhawk from Shelbyville to Ft. Sill, Oklahoma.

The kids and I were joined by our families for an emotional send-off. For the first time, I believe Briggs understood the situation, as well as a seven year old can. The three youngest will hopefully never remember. Although, I am worried it will be the toughest on Gage in the short-term. He is daddy’s #1 fan!

We are so very proud of Tim. Please enjoy the amazing images that Nate took. I think these are some of the most incredible images he has ever caught…they look as if they should be in Time Magazine. I am so thankful to have such a talented brother.

This is undoubtedly the toughest time we will endure. Thank you for all of your support, thoughts, and prayers.

  6. Hi Tiffany -

Just wanted to send along my thoughts and prayers to Tim, you and your family. Tim’s service to our country and your positive attitude is inspiring. I will pray for Tim’s safe and quick return. (By the way, I’m a friend of Betsy’s.)

  7. Tim & Tiffany - I REALLY love this blog. I’ve had the page up every day since I received the link. What a great idea and a great way to stay in touch. The pictures ARE amazing.

Tim - I love you brother! You’re a great leader and friend - always fighting for the rights of the ones you love, and now you go to do it for an entire nation. I’m confident you will succeed in your mission. I’ll be thinking about you every day and focusing my “chi” in your direction. I wish you the best and look forward to your safe return.

Tiffany - By all means, please consider Leticia and me part of your extended family and lean on us for whatever you need. We love you too and want to be an integral part of your support team while Tim is out supporting us all.

God bless you and your family,
    Andy

  8. We live in the best country in the world. Thank you for your willingness to protect us. The passion of a caring spirit is so depicted in these photos and the messages. This filled my heart with emotions as I scrolled through this. May god bless your family and Tim’s unit with safety during this period. Tim is a “Top Gun” in many aspects as is Tiffany. We are blessed to have both of you and your family as part of our lives. Thank you so much for putting this together.

  9. Tim & Family - You are in my prayers and thoughts often. It’s an honor to call you both friends. As a Gulf War vet I have a lot of empathy for what you and your family are going through. But I know that you are all strong.

I look forward to reading your blog. Good luck, God speed!

  12. Tim, Tiffany & Family,

Photos are breathtaking. I got to see them only hours after they were taken–however, they are just as stirring to my emotions the second time viewing them as they were the first time. I am so incredibly proud of you and your family. I treasure you and love you all so much!

    God Bless,
    Becky
